Family Holiday Fun at the Children’s Museum

The Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum’s volunteers and staff are ready, willing, and able to Play and Learn with families during the holiday season!  The Children’s Museum has extended hours to welcome friends and family visiting from out of town! The MMCM will be open on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, December 20, 21, 22, and 23; closing on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, reopening on Saturday, December 26 through Thursday, December 31; closed on New Year’s Day and open Saturday and Sunday, January 2       and 3, 2016.  Special evening hours are scheduled until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 22 and 29!

The Bounce House is back in the MMCM house again during the month of December. Members and guests can work out their sillies for an additional fee.  A discount applies for MMCM members.

On Wednesday, December 30, MMCM Winter Break Day Camp will offer campers gallery play along with, an indoor snowball fight, sock skating, ice marbles and warm winter stories. Snacks and craft supplies are included; campers should bring their own lunch and beverage. Camp fee for members $25, $30 for non-members. Reserve your space soon!

Meet Delta College QTV – PBS stars Peg + Cat on Thursday, December 31 during the MMCM New Years Eve Day Blast! Noise makers and party hats all around along with gallery play, popcorn treats, and face painting. The pop-up Lego room will be open, and creative crafts will be available in the Art Mart.

Plan to join your family and friends at the MMCM for a fun-filled, Play and Learn holiday break!  MMCM memberships and gift certificates make the perfect gift!

The Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum places priority on Play and Learn experiences through teamwork, creativity and curiosity for children from birth to 10 years of age. Special rates are available for groups who pre-schedule visits to the MMCM.  The MMCM is also an ideal location for field trips, scout troops, birthday parties, family reunions and corporate events.  Evening rentals are available. Annual memberships, with reciprocal benefits at 300 children’s museums nationwide, may be purchased by families who plan frequent visits.
