Toddler Time:  Join us each week for fun and stimulating activities that develop motor, social, and language skills for toddlers.  Story time, finger play and toddler arts & crafts are some examples of play and learn activities.  Volunteer educators work with the MMCM Play Educator to develop and/or run weekly programs for children ages four years and under with their parents or caregivers.

2nd Graders Are 1st Class: In this curriculum-based program, the MMCM Play Educator trains volunteers to lead science lessons utilizing two of the MMCM’s unique exhibits plus specialized equipment.  This hands-on program provides experiments that are part of the second grade exploration.  Each child has the opportunity to actively use the equipment in the museum to experience the variables in each of the two lessons.  The benefit to the visiting students is having experienced educators leading the program at the MMCM using professionally designed elements.

Lessons in the program meet the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), Common Core State Standards (CCSS), and Grade Level Content Expectations (GLCEs) for second grade.
