The second of three Discovery Days is set for July 26, 2014! Tickets can be purchased at the Temple Theatre Box Office, 203 N. Washington Avenue, anytime up until the day of the event. Groups of four can purchase one pass for $20 ($7 per additional person). Passes provide transportation between locations and entrance to all participating institutions between 10am and 4pm that day. Day passes are not required to use transportation. The Discovery Days bus will begin at the Temple Theatre at 10:00 am and will return to the Temple every hour.
The bus, run by Mitchell Motorcoach,Ltd., will stop at each location throughout the day: the Saginaw Art Museum, the Castle Museum, the Temple Theatre, the Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum, the Children’s Zoo, the Japanese Cultural Center and Hoyt Public Library. Check websites for individual specials and events throughout the day.
Discovery Days passes are a savings of over $120 for a family of four.
From 10am to 12 noon, local Saginaw historian, Tom Trombley, will provide area information on the bus and at 12 noon will provide a History and Architectural walking tour.
