Families are invited to come to the Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum on Saturday, July 19, 2014 for summertime Christmas fun! Visitors to the MMCM on that day will decorate a Christmas tree and create holiday ornaments along with interactive gallery play. Santa and the reindeer will be here between noon and 2 pm. Christmas in July is sponsored by Hemlock Semiconductor and the Saginaw Celebrates Summer initiative.
Beginning July 1, the MMCM introduces Day End Discounts! Every Thursday, between 3 and 5 pm, the MMCM will offer $5.00 per person admission! Explore the Insides Out gallery, build a Lego structure, try catching a plastic fish, sort the colorful fruits and vegetables in Aunt Sugar’s Farm or practice driving in Auto Works. The Amazing Airways structure will amaze children with colorful scarves and balls moving through clear tubes to explode from multiple exits! Children and families are invited to play and learn in the nine interactive galleries at the MMCM for less on Thursdays!
The Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum is located at 315 West Genesee Avenue in Saginaw. The MMCM places priority on discovery-based learning for children from birth to 12 years of age. Nine interactive galleries inspire hands-on play. Special rates are available for groups who pre-schedule visits to the MMCM. The MMCM is also an ideal location for field trips, scout troops, birthday parties, family reunions and corporate events. Evening rentals are available. Annual reciprocal memberships may be purchased by families who plan frequent visits. Contact the MMCM 989-399-6626 or visit the website www.michildrensmuseum.com for more information.
