The Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum in Saginaw is hosting a candy-free, fun, musical, arts and craft day for children up to age 12 on Saturday, March 23, 2013. The special admission price of $10.00 per child includes a visit with the Easter Bunny, spring time crafts, face painting, music & movement with Michele Spitz from 11:00 a.m. until Noon, and admission to the MMCM for the day. The Zoo at Celebration Square is sending some furry animal friends for a visit on that day too from 11:00 a.m. – Noon.
The MMCM will open at 10:00 am for toddlers to begin the candy-free egg hunt; older children will also enjoy exploring the gallery areas for candy-free plastic eggs. All children participating in the hunt can redeem their eggs for a gift bag when they leave. Special admission prices for this event are $10.00 per child, $7.00 per adult. The fee for MMCM members is $5.00 per child, member adults are free. Tickets for the Candy-Free Egg Hunt may be purchased in advance at the MMCM, 315 West Genesee Avenue in Saginaw between 10 and 5, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and on Sundays from noon to 5 pm. The MMCM is closed every Tuesday.
