Day with Dad at the Children’s Museum in Saginaw

The MMCM is hosting a Day with Dad on Saturday, June 15, 2013.  This is the perfect time for kids to spend a fun-filled day with dad, granddad, or the special father-figure in their life.  MMCM guests will enjoy a pancake brunch and exciting value-added experiences: helicopter landing, science experiments, raffle prizes, martial arts demonstration, and musical entrainment, along with the nine super special gallery experiences.  See construction vehicles up close. Lou E. Loon and super heroes will be on hand for photo ops.  Learn all about the Saginaw lumber era by visiting the History on the Move truck. Tickets for Day with Dad are $10.00 per person; MMCM members pay $5.00 each.  Every ticket purchased includes a raffle ticket for hourly drawings. Thank you to our Event Sponsors: Dow Chemical, Duro-Last, York Repair, Great Lakes Eye Institute, Nexteer and Media Sponsor Word Up Magazine. Funding also provided by the Saginaw Celebrates Summer initiative.  Call 989-399-6626 for sponsor details.

The Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum is located at 315 West Genesee Avenue in Saginaw.  Children learn best at their own pace and direct, hands-on, interactive experiences are the most powerful method of learning!  Nine custom designed galleries featuring solar energy, the human body, art, automobiles, water and agriculture present familiar themes that will engage the imagination of children from birth to 12 years of age. Special rates are available for groups who pre-schedule visits to the MMCM.  The MMCM is also an ideal location for play groups, scout troops, field trips, birthday parties, family reunions and corporate events.  Annual memberships may be purchased by families who plan frequent visits.
