Representatives from Team One Credit Union presented the Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum with a check for $10,000 on December 11, 2013. The generous donation caps off a campaign to purchase and install the A-Mazing Airways gallery inside the Children’s Museum located at 315 West Genesee Avenue in Saginaw.
After the gallery installation in January, 2014, visitors, young and not so young, can experiment with air and wind energy in an engaging way that encourages exploration and discovery. Children will investigate the power of moving air and pneumatics, and gain knowledge about the importance and power of air in their world. Impact Saginaw, a collaboration of Saginaw community credit unions, is bringing some “Jingle all the Way” to the kids in the Saginaw area by offering a free day at the Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum on Saturday, December 7, 2013. The museum is located at 315 West Genesee Avenue.
Between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. kids can enjoy the wide variety of “hands-on” exhibits throughout the museum. Plus, Impact Saginaw will have a warming tent featuring treats for the kids, crafts, and an opportunity to visit with Santa Claus. This is a great opportunity for parents and grandparents to bring their cameras and take a picture of your kids with Santa!

Happy Halloween! So far we’ve gotten 23 entries for our Halloween Costume Contest, and we expect more to be added today. It will be very hard to choose a winner from the FANTASTIC selection.
